Topic: Selling Pianoteq 8 Studio Bundle for $700 (or €600)

I'm selling my Pianoteq 8 Studio Bundle license for $700 or €600 via Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo.

- The Studio Bundle includes Pianoteq Pro and all 21 instrument packs. It costs €929 new.
- I'm the original license owner, and it has not been transferred before.
- I'll cover the €29 license transfer fee.

I'd prefer to have Modartt oversee the license transfer and escrow if possible - I'll open a support ticket to start this process.

Thanks for getting back to me. I didn't realize licenses could only be transferred once and updates will not be free so I think I prefer to purchase a new license directly from Modartt. Thanks for your time

It’s also why typically it’s sold at 50% value or less based on past offers. Because of the 1x transfer limit, most transferee has very limited options afterwards except to eat the costs. They can’t sell it at that point or update. Essentially stuck with it. I wonder if we are allowed to upgrade?

Yes, you can upgrade, both in version (e.g. v7 to v8) and in category (e.g. Stage to Pro, which of course is not relevant in this case).
You can also add new instruments when they are released (not sure if relevant in this case: does the Studio bundle include all instrument available at the time of purchase or all future ever released ones, assuming one updates just version, e.g. if a Studio v7 is updated to v8 does one have to separately buy the Bosendorfer?)

The only limitation is not further resales, probably to avoid people buying and selling repeatedly to make a profit (rather than using the instrument). I've heard rumors that Modartt occasionally made exception to this no-resale rule for some extenuating circumstances
