Topic: Most overwhelming Organteq sound, speechless? Updated!

Here the latest updated sound today with more power

First - The massive sound of Organteq here  at the end is not easy to surpass. Such an absolute consistence  without any  harmonic imperfection . Superb artwork from Modartt and Roman.  What a magnificent sound! And the stops allows a lot of freedom of expression with it.

4 Organteq 1 and 4 Organteq 2 and 150 stops used and the bass pedal sound like stop Bombarde in the organ at the Cathedral of St Ouen, Rouen in France (Organteq Bombarde can be heard especially in the last chord). I love it!!   As a Cavaillé-Coll!

Most overwhelming Organteq sound, that just blow you away and leave you speechless? If so, I understand if you can’t give a comment - but I’m glad if you can

Best pipe organ in the world?
The organ at the Cathedral of St Ouen, Rouen in France
Builder: Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. (And best modelled organ is Organteq 2 by Modartt)

One of the most important organs in France, this huge four-manual instrument rebuilt from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Today it remains almost exactly as Cavaillé-Coll intended and is considered one of the most beautiful of the French late-19th-century ‘symphonic’ period.

Organteq is also  inspired from  A. Cavaillé-Coll ( and G. Silbermann, T. Tröst and many others).

All the best, everyone

Stig
