Topic: Setting up Keyswitches

Hello,
Newbie question here, regarding classical the guitar pack. What exact steps must I take inside the Midi window in order to assign events like [Pedal 2 pinch Harmonic pedal] or Mute to a specific keyswitch? I see 'controller', 'program change' and 'note on' drop-down entries but no 'keyswitch'. I assumed it would be 'Note on' but that doesn't work.
Tks

Re: Setting up Keyswitches

Hello,

The settings should be as in the following image:

MIDI Mapping settings

It is possible to do this using MIDI Learn: long-press the desired control, select Assign MIDI Event, press the keyswitch, then change Set to Toggle in the MIDI Mappings window.

Fantastic! So 'note on' indeed (with the on/off qualifier). And I was looking into "keyswitches behaving as toggles" instead of actually defining them with set:toggle. Many tks for a short, very clear and detailed explanation! Incidentally, is there a way to change the tone - such as sul ponticello, Tirando, etc.?

Re: Setting up Keyswitches

If you have Pianoteq Standard or Pro, you can change the tone by using the "Plucking point" and "Plucking brightness" settings, among others.
You can refer to the corresponding section of the manual for more details.
