Topic: Small GUI bug (or so I think)

Organteq 2 → Settings → Crescendo tab. A black line appears to the side of the crescendo sequencer when the crescendo pedal is depressed:

The fact that a black line is visible is intentional – but not as shown in your video, but rather, this line moves across the entire programming field from left (0% crescendo) to right (100%). In your case, the line is obviously mirrored and is only visible at 100% on the right edge of the programming field. Unfortunately, I can't say why this is the case.

So is it a bug then? I just bought my Organteq 2 license a few days ago and have barely scratched the surface, so I'm not in a position to say with confidence if something is a bug or not, but this one looked odd enough to me.

Re: Small GUI bug (or so I think)

I believe, though I can't say with absolute certainty, that's the UI indicator that the organ state is updating in the background relative to the two windows, such that there will likely always be a few milliseconds that state changes propagate through the multi-window interface and end up being repainted.  Note that the animation ends just as the rest of the main UI "catches up" to the change.

So, not likely a bug.  My guess as to why two different UI behaviors is that it's an OS-related difference or a graphics card brand/driver difference, not a functionality difference.  I'm not in a great position to test further, at the moment, but in a few hours I might be able to take a few minutes to look at how it behaves on my machine more closely.
