Topic: Does pianoteq send midi cc ?

Hi,
I haven't been able to verify/figure out if pianoteq, when it loads a patch, sends the midi controls that are configured ? Is that a thing ?

More context:
i have a nano control2 hooked up, and assigned a buttons to the FX ON/OFF ... it be nice if the state of those buttons is sent when the patch is changed.. or is that what actually happens ?

Maybe it does already and i've just not been able to configure it correctly on the nanocontrol side...

Regards,
Olivier

You have to use Global Mappings  in the option menu, Insert the additional CC numbers that corresponds to the CC numbers sent by your nano control 2 and make sure you assign the right Pianoteq command in the Global Mappings window. Then you can attach the CC mapping to a particular pianoteq preset or fxp  and the mapping will change every time you load a patch.

so  the workflow is  :
(1) nano control2 has got CC numbers that are assigned to buttons/ knobs.
(2) These Change control values are sent as CC midi message to pianoteq when pressed/activated
(3) Pianoteq executes the command associated to the CC message being received , based on the corresponding action declared in the mapping settings attached to the patch.
