Topic: Organteq 2 Prélude pour L`Ave Maris stella by César Franck

This little prelude by César Franck is one of the posthumously published works that his son published from his estate in 1905. Franck had written these posthumously published little pieces in his youth for an organist friend who only had a small village church organ at his disposal.

I recorded it in such a way that the left hand is more clearly audible than on most existing recordings. The underlying MIDI file is by Pierre Gouin.

Thank you Carmelo!
And indeed, there are more unknown pieces of César Franck in L`Organiste Vol. 2, which were published postumously in 1905 by his son, and they are all very interesting and deeply moving.

lovely piece!  very understated but still quite moving.
