Topic: organteq (Romantic church) - Ernst Adolph Wendt: Gott ist mein Lied

Composer: Ernst Adolph Wendt (1806-1850)

A short chorale prelude from the period of German organ romanticism.

organteq 2 - Romantic church
Organo pleno. I used the ‘Principal 32’ stop for the first time for a recording in the pedal. A good reproduction of very low notes is therefore necessary when listening

Very good registration - Organo pleno. It means Full organ—that is, the entire power of the instrument. But not the same as Tutti. You didn’t say if it is written to use it but, anyway, majestic feeling.
(Take principals of various pitch levels 8', 4', 2', 2 2/3’ mixtures etc. all together to get festive sound).

I like the festive feeling. Well done. Nice to listen to, but too short

Thanks Unruh for sharing

Best wishes,
