Topic: iPad Mini 7th Gen for Pianoteq?

Hello everyone! I'm planning to purchase an iPad mini 7th gen for pianoteq use. Considering the A17 Pro chip inside the iPad mini, would my purchase be worth it?

I'd love to hear thoughts about this!

Hi,

A17 chip would be more than enough.
For your information, I can use my iPhone XS without any polyphony issue.
That said, have you ever considered using a larger iPad ?
I use my iPad Pro to display sheet music while playing and it’s incredibly convenient.

Ah I see, that's good to know. About using a larger iPad, I did consider buying a larger iPad. However I personally like the form factor of the iPad mini as I mostly use my older iPad mini 4 for live gigs and notating for my music college. Since I already have a laptop, (which also runs PianoTeq and other music apps/notating software) I would just like my iPad to be an easier, "more portable" device to run PianoTeq on.
