Topic: Using Pianoteq with Yamaha Arius YDP-S54

I'm trying to use Pianoteq running on an iPad with the Yamaha YDP-S54.  I was able to have Pianoteq recognize MIDI from the Yamaha either using Bluetooth MIDI or by using MIDI directly running a USB cable from the keyboard to the iPad.  The problem I have is I want to play back the Pianoteq output through the speakers on the keyboard rather than just via the headphone jack on the iPad.  I tried turning off the audio loopback (Function - G5 to turn off) but don't hear the Pianoteq output through the keyboard speakers, just the built-in keyboard sounds.  When I go into the control panel in Pianoteq I see "Device" is listed as "IOS Audio", and if I click the "Test" button I hear a tone through the keyboard speakers, but playing the keyboard gives me the Pianoteq output through the iPad speakers (or headphone) but not through the keyboard speaker.  Any ideas?  TIA, Ron

I think that directs the pianoteq output to iPad headphones. (EDIT: or actually to iPads default set output what ever that is.) If you click the PTQ list aren't there any other output options?

I used to own Arius YDP-164 and I managed to get the PTQ sound from Arius speakers at some point. The definition for the Audio loopback is a bit vague:

Audio Loop Back
On/Off
Sets whether the audio sound input from the [USB TO HOST] terminal is returned to
the computer/smart device or not, along with the performance played on the
instrument.

just try both.

PS. Check also what is the output selected for iPad itself. Swipe down in the right upper corner to reveal options.
