Topic: Little Prelude from Six Little Preludes BWV 933-938. (Ptq Bluthner)

Little Prelude in E Major by Johann Sebastian Bach, BWV 937, from Six Little Preludes (BWV 933-938).

Using Bluthner Chamber Recording AB. I think a good sounding piano this too, comparing to Bösendorfer and Kawai.
And what a beautiful little Prelude. Some people play this very fast as a formula race....   This is amateur Pianoteqenthusiast's tempo  .... and my way of playing with many short notes....I think I get it more live and fun this way....
Enjoy.

Beautiful performance Stig! I really like the sound you chose of the Bluthner, I had a Bluthner grand piano from the 70s in high school... with a silvery, brilliant, "Viennese" sound, really fantastic...
Your way of playing is really interesting, not like a race or a competition, as you say, but you really manage to give life to the notes... I like it a lot.

Thank you so much and Greetings from Italy!

Thank you carmelo for kind comment. Sometimes it can be good to be self thought player, You may not be so bound to what someone else taught you......
I have a notebook 31 small preludes and fugues, Bach   from 1911 (Karl Ekman).  I shall upload some not so difficult. Stay tuned.

Best wishes,

Stig

wonderful performance Stig.  i thought the tempo was great.  it was very lively without being breakneck.  i think the articulation and tempo translated into a lot of clarity.  i thought it was great.

Thank you budo. Your comment inspires me to immediately try to make another recording with Ptq.  Organteq now has to wait its turn

Best wishes,
