Topic: W.A. Mozart Klavierstück F-Dur K.33B - Anton Walter pianoforte

This piece must have been composed when Mozart was around 9 or 10 years old. It really shows that Mozart was already Mozart even as a child.

I played this for a dear friend who was hospitalized for surgery at the time. I'd be glad if anyone likes it.

This piece was one of the simple pieces I had hoped to play when I restarted the piano around Sep. 2020. However, to my surprise, I couldn’t play it at the time. I had lost my sense of intervals like thirds and fourths and couldn’t play it without hitting wrong notes. This recording was made about two years after I resumed playing the piano. I could play it even better now, I hope.

This is lovely - I don't know this composition.

Well played, full of fun and character and your choice of instrument matches it perfectly !!!

Loved the ornaments and their tight execution - brilliant, simply brilliant!

We need more of this calibre of playing...

Dear Triton,

I fully confirm DEZ's enthusiastic opinion.
The piece is very beautiful and fun, the choice of period instrument is spot on and the style with which you play it is perfect.
I really enjoyed your performance!

Thank you all for your comments.

About the piece – yes, this piece is really lovely.
About the choice of instrument – yes, Pianoteq offers such a wide variety of instruments that it allows us to choose the most suitable one. Walter is one of my favorites—it's amazing that it’s free.
About my performance – I always try to play in a way that I would enjoy listening to, but since I don’t have anyone around to give me feedback, I sometimes feel a bit nervous about how my performance is perceived. Receiving comments like yours is truly encouraging.

Thank you so much !!!

Hello Triton,
very nice recording of this Mozart composition. I find the sound of the Anton Walter pianoforte from the KIViR instruments collection very interesting for Mozart's music.
Best regards
