I use Cakewalk for MIDI sequences & am looking for something with organ sounds that works well with that application — either a hardware MIDI device or a software MIDI instrument. Is OrganTeq a good choice for this? If any OrganTeq user has experience with this, please advise how easy or complicated it is to use OrganTeq with Cakewalk.

I think Organteq is very easy. On the other hand, what is easy for some, it's hard for others.
The good news is that Modartt really shines in their attention for the user (compared to other companies which shall remain unnamed). You can just download the demo and try it. The demo just has a handful of notes disabled and it goes silent after 15 minutes (but you can rewind it, or close and reopen it). You can then try the demo in the exact way you want and confirm whether or not you are satisfied with it before you buy it. Hence, I strongly suggest that you take advantage of this opportunity.
