The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba G. F. Händel (Organteq 2)

Music is from oratorio Salomon by Georg Friedrich Händel. Arrangement for organ by Marcus Torén, swedish organist.
When playing this, it’s like the arrival of the Queen Organteq ! The queen of instruments.

The oratorio contains a short and lively instrumental passage for two oboes and strings in Act Three, known as  The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba,
which has become famous outside the context of the complete work, and was featured at the 2012 London olympics opening ceremony as James Bond  (Daniel Craig) goes to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

I am using:
track 1   11 stops from preset Tweaked, all 3 manuals

track 2   18 stops fom preset A Clockwork Organ (trumpetlike sounds) all 3 manuals + a little little bit of a trumpet sound from daw.
(It was totally impossible to use all 40 stops in the preset Clockwork organ, the computer stopped right before it could even start, couldn't handle all the information.. But it would have given a different trumpet sound, more powerful).

track 3    11 stops from preset Baroque Church Crescendo, all 3 manuals

track 4     6 stops from preset Baroque Church Crecendo, pedalboard

track 5      a little bit of a French Horn (from DAW Garageband)

46 stops used. I think people don’t use Clockwork organ and Tweaked, but there is the power! And much to experiment with. But now I wanted to test them.
I think Organteq 2 here is having the character of a symphony, symphonic. Suggestive of a symphony. especially in this harmonious arrangement.

It's incredible what sounds you can get out of the Organteq 2! No ordinary church organ can do this. WoW, what a toolbox for creating sounds. I love it!
And again, these stops combinations are new for me, never used before. I never get tired of testing sound, before I am going to record a piece.

All the best, everyone

Stig
