Topic: Pianoteq and synths

I realize Pianoteq is a powerful acoustic piano modeller and I purchased it to get a great sound for our pianist in the pit of our musical, Godspell, but she will also be playing a keytar on stage and doing a solo which would sound cool with a mean synth sound.

What options do I have with Pianoteq to get that sound?

Re: Pianoteq and synths

Use the best tool for the job: a regular synth.  I don't see any good reason to use Pianoteq for something it's not especially good, or flexible, at.

There are many excellent synths available for whatever platform you're on (iOS, MacOS, Windows). And available for free (free or open source, e.g., Surge XT, Vital, many others) or, especially for iOS, for tiny amount, say, $10.
