Re: Stupid Games

Is that such sort of game where some voter will say the sound didn't felt real enough, until you inform it was a real piano recording?

Who is the girl singing?
Jazz singer?

Who is the girl singing? Jazz singer? This is a Vocaloid singing - one of the ones that come with Vocaloid6:AI

Thanks for commenting and 'edging' your vote. I shall reveal nothing till the votes look interesting!

There’s still time to cast your vote - you have to be logged in to do so though…

Re: Stupid Games

MODARTT please stop this vote running...

It's time to reveal the mystery piano.

With the following votes given - and thank you for participating:

Kawai (4) - 33%
Boesendorter (0)
Steinway (0)
Petrof (2) - 16.5%
Bechstein (2) - 16.5%
Steingraeber (2) - 16.5%
Grotrian (0)
Bluethner (2) - 16.5%

I can reveal that the actual model is a STEINWAY

The actual model was modified and this goes to show that PianoTeq is extremely flexible...

Now, you don't need to be a piano builder to extend your range of pianos here are a few tips you can try to get the kind of sound you may prefer:

The Spectrum profile under VOICING - move the first slider 1 down (towards -12) to get a brighter piano and up (towards +12) to get a duller one.
The Impedance under DESIGN - move to the left to deaden the note decay and to the right to make it sustain for much longer
The Unison width under TUNING - move to the right to make your piano start to sound honkytonk - I wouldn't recommend moving it to the left it may kill realism

Thank should be enough to get you experimenting....
