Topic: Korg D1 - Velocity Curve

Hey..This is my first post here )
I'd like to ask if any of you could share your velocity curve for Korg D1. I know there's already one on the forum, but it just doesn't quite suit me. It's too jumpy when I play more challenging pieces. I've calibrated it and have a decent setup, but it's not perfect yet. The key thing is that I've set the internal velocity curve on my Korg to 1 - that's better because the acceleration feels smoother. Then I do calibration and adjust accordingly. Still, it's not exactly how I want it. Maybe one of you could share yours.. That's all. Thank you very much  and happy new year )

my vel. for now...with no 1 touch on korg
Velocity = [0, 1, 63, 73, 110, 127; 0, 0, 41, 66, 96, 127]

Re: Korg D1 - Velocity Curve

Hi its me again.I’d like to share that I’ve found the perfect velocity curve. I used one I found on a forum..and I just trimmed it in half and adjusted the top part. That’s the velocity curve I’m using.

Velocity = [0, 27, 41, 56, 69, 116, 127; 0, 14, 29, 44, 65, 103, 127]

It’s important that on the Korg D1, you need to set the internal velocity curve to 1 (Light Touch) for it to work perfectly. This setup works great for me. I leave the dynamic settings as they are by default, adjusting them only as needed based on the pianoteq presets. Im very happy with the result.
no jumps or sudden spikes, just a very smooth response. Now I can play etudes exactly the way I want.I think it would be useful to have a section on the main page about velocity curve suggestions that include not only the curve itself but also the appropriate internal velocity settings for each controller. Currently this information isn’t listed on the main page. Anyway..
Thats all ..cheers)
