Hi DEZ,
Of course we can feel happy and sad using Orgtq. Good examples!
I've been following your journey with orgtq even though I haven't commented all along. In the end, it's always then just, very nice, well done, but let me say that I appreciate your tests and your work with orgtq. There are so many people who don’t upload with orgatq. I sometimes feel alone.(over 600 orgtq/ptq pieces growing). No comments and the ones that comment are a few the same. Which is nice. Recently wrote in the forum: please come over to this other side and listen and comment. Nothing happened.
Of course you can feel happy and sad, really good examples, and the trick of playing a stop an octave higher or lower gives many possibilities for solo instruments (stops).
Thank you DEZ. Continue to experiment, I listen and borrow your ideas later, but not feeling well yet
Best wishes,
Stig
Hi DEZ,
Of course you can feel happy and sad, really good examples, It's not what I'm feeling but getting the right registrations to convey emotions, ie do the flutes sound bright, cheerful and happy, what about the diapasons? strings? reeds? How do they combine to add a particular sentiment? - all fun stuff. and the trick of playing a stop an octave higher or lower gives many possibilities for solo instruments (stops). Indeed, there a full 5 octaves to discover. Some reeds are quite quiet in their upper register and others really bombastic in their lower ones. Interesting that it is the chamber that colours the reed and not the metal reed itself - so perhaps Mo D'art can give access to this parameter in future versions and we can create our own peculiar reed sounds for the fun of it? Continue to experiment, I listen and borrow your ideas later, Thanks for the encouragement - feel free to 'borrow' away! but not feeling well yet Hope you feel well soon!
Thanks for commenting Stig, hope you're restored to your normal prolific self soon
