Topic: Instal Pianoteq stage 8 on 2 PC

Hello everybody!

Can I install Pianoteq 8 in 2 PC devices and buy it only once or do I have to buy 2 licences for each PC?

Kind regards

Each license allows to be used on 3 devices total

And when upgrading to a new PC, for example, you can remove a license from one PC and install it on the new one. In fact, it's one of the coolest licensing systems I've ever seen.

You get three install slots.
That means three total machines (your own machines) simultaneously. If you wish to have Pianoteq on a different machine when you have occupied all three then you will have to deactivate one of those licenses to move it to another machine.

That way you could easily have it say on a desktop, laptop and a more portable iPad system.
Or perhaps you have a system upstairs and one downstairs, and a laptop or iPad for portable use..

Organteq has no price competition compared to those based on samples, like Hauptwerk and Sweelinq.

Yes, Key Fumbler nailed it. It is a very generous licensing scheme. And I'll just add that if you use one of your 3 slots for an iPad or iPhone, you can use it on all your iOS devices that are licensed to that same Apple account. I currently have Pianoteq Studio (a single license) on a Mac desktop, a Mac laptop, 3 iPads, and my iPhone. It feels great to always have a backup, when I go to gigs--I either bring an extra iPad or just have my phone as my backup (had to use it once on a gig and it worked fine).
