Topic: bechstein preset on stage vs std.

i have stage & picked up the Bechstein pack - which i like, but i think there is excessive ringing resonance on F#5 (G5 too) just to the point of distraction.

i installed the standard demo & in the same preset (DG Prelude) resonance isnt nearly as prominent.

velocity curves & all settings are default.  I thought instrument packs should sound the same.   is that not correct?

That rogue, if you will, upper harmonic may be reduced by lowering only that harmonic in the spectrum note-by-note editor just for that one note alone.  Oh the power of Pianoteq!
