Topic: Pasting an image into a forum post?

I seem to have forgotten how to do this, and I can't see what I'm doing wrong:

I have images enabled, but if I click on the icon for images, inserting the codes, and then copy a png image from a folder, when I then return to post and try to insert the image, nothing happens. If I right click, the menu shows "Paste" as greyed-out.

Do images have to be on a web site, so we can only paste links?

I think you need to post the image to a host site like imageshack.us then link to it.

Ah...Many thanks. I needed to post images of mic arrangements--hard to describe them.
