Topic: Tourbillons for Six Harps - Using Pianoteq Concert Harp

I bought the harp soundpack and was so inspired, I created a new recording of a massive 6 harp piece i wrote in 2007 for a French sextet. A composition which relies on mass effects to achieve novel textural and melodic densities within repeated figurations,Tourbillons was written for the French harp sextet, Naccara, who premiered it in 2007.

Well named. Very good piece ! Something like an electron beam (to me) sometimes. And something like metal (nothing pejorative, I like some metal bands) sometimes, too. Liked it. I will have to listen to Naccara !

Thanks, Borealis! I grew up on rock and funk and jazz, got into classical late.  This piece probably has more in common with NIN or Talking Heads (Remain in Light) than most recent Western art music!  I'm a very tune-driven, dissonance-resolvin' classical formalist disguised as a modern experimentalist, lol...

Thanks for your kind comments!
