Topic: Children's Corner: Claude Debussy, binaural, 60 db dynamic range

The video uses a morphed piano (2 Steingraeber presets and 1 Bechstein preset). The dynamic range is 60 db. Given its binaural processing, it is best heard through headphones.

Nice, interesting sound. In the lower register it sound a bit like felt piano and in higher parts, and forte, it is like a new piano. You created a piano never existed before - bravo! Keep them coming, dapperdave!
I wish people would use morphing more.

Debussy dedicated the suite 1908 to his daughter, Claude-Emma. But perhaps to capitalize on the popularity of "Golliwog's Cakewalk," he also composed another cakewalk pour piano in 1909 called Le petit nègre (The little negro).

I listened to Childrens corner with my pupils when I was a teacher and they made paintings to the music. And then I found this other ”Cakewalk” fr. 1909, reminiscent of Cakew.Childr Corner1908, which I recorded earlier this year:

Thanks for the comments, Stig!

Years ago, back when my hands permitted it, I played the pieces in Children's Corner, and I also played  Le petit nègre, but I didn't know about its relationship to Golliwogg's Cakewalk. Thanks for the information!

Cheers!
