Topic: Stella By Starlight and Stolen Moments (Pianoteq)

two very frequently performed tunes from the Real Book, Stella By Starlight and Stolen Moments.  (the former is a good candidate for the most performed tune from the book ... it must be in the top 10.)

Stella by Starlight
LIKE IT!
Inspirational, thanks again budo for posting your great playing. Great harmonization of the theme! A real listening pleasure. Like the way your hands compliments each other in this piece. You're truly an inspiration. And it's even more interesting to listen to your playing now, that I learned about your long piano education with good teachers. I noticed the part 3,02 - 3,35, wondeful! and the loooong nice slow ending - it’s one of your ”budo-special”

Stolen Moments
Great music, superb playing, and partly, 3.10-3,20  a nice complex arrangement. Interesting how the bass goes in this piece. Thank you budo!

Two great pieces - A kind of double joy

Maybe I'll try Stella myself....

Best,

Stig

thank you so much for your comments.  i think Stella would be great to try, it's a beautiful tune.  and it's also one of the most common jazz standards so it's really something that everyone wants to hear.
