Topic: Liturgy, The Magician In You (Pianoteq)

two more Real Book tracks that are significantly more obscure than Autumn Leaves.  both were done with a slight modification of Petrof Mistral Jazz Recording.  the Mistral is one of my favorite pianos of all.

Liturgy by Michael Gibbs.  one of many tunes in the book by him that were recorded by Gary Burton.  not sure why it's called this ... it doesn't sound very liturgical to me, but maybe i'm missing something:

The Magician In You by Keith Jarrett.  a beautiful chord progression that takes a few unexpected twists:

Two other good ones by budo. Liturgy for gospel (maybe) ?

Yes, Mistral has the full sound. Sorry for the lack of words, but it's very nice !

Well, liturgy can also mean ”a customary repertoire of ideas, phrases” and it can mean ”work for the people” (Google).
I think I can hear good ideas and phrases - and your extremely good performance. Thank you budo
