Topic: Fatar TP40Wood installation.

I have a Fatar TP40Wood keybed that I am using with a Doepfer scanner board and midi interphase and works well for me.
I realize that the Doepfer boards are optimised for the Fatar TP40GH with only twin sensors, but I have installed the bed in a baby grand chassis.
To change to a TP40GH would be a regressive move, plus they are dimensionally different.
Does anyone think that a change of electronics is feasible, and are there 3rd party sources of Studiologic main boards/midi interphase boards.
I don't require pitch blend etc.
Thanks.

Re: Fatar TP40Wood installation.

I don't understand completely what you want to do, but if you have a keyboard with sensors connected, it is not very difficult to make a MIDI interface, I would suggest you to use a Teensy board with some multiplexors and diodes. There are libraries written which makes the programming work quite easy.

Did you ask Doepfer? They were always very helpful, as their products are for the DIY people anyway.
