Topic: Getting the most realistic piano sound with pianoteq 6 pro
Hi guys,
I've been tweaking and listening to all the suggestions I've found on this forum and others to get the sound I need and want out of Pianoteq 6 pro.
I'm a classical pianist and I would like to get as close as possible to a real grand piano sound and I feel like I'm getting closer..
I need my preset to be more natural overall, less ringing in the high end, I feel like there is still something artificial in the sustain of the sound between the notes compared to a real grand. I know there's always some give and take, you cut there, you boost there and then you gain or lose something elsewhere lol.
Here is my FXP preset I've created and been constantly trying to improve for the last few months :

Can someone try and improve it while keeping the sound as natural as possible without flooding it with reverb and keeping the sound spectrum pretty close (the microphones in close proximity to the instrument), also keeping at least a third mic
to give it air to breathe If you guys know what I mean..
My instrument at the moment is the P515.
Thanks a lot in advance !
