Topic: We need more chill-out music in Covid time

I was enjoying Smilie’s playing To a wild rose. And was thinking that in covid time my listening to music has changed. We need more comforting music now, chill-out music. I have needed it for a long time already as a care taker of my wife 24/7 and now even more in covid time. At night 23,00 - 02.00 I find Pianoteq/Organteq as my refuge, feeling safe when I crawl into the space of music and notes.

Here ”To a wild rose” again, with Organteq, and more comforting music, chill-out music:
The swan   The herdmaiden’s sunday    G F Händel Largo   Vivaldi Largo

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I will upload some more pieces, maybe they can be a source of joy to someone in these times. I read somewhere that Spotify listeners are searching for chill music now, instrumental, during the corona pandemic.

Hello. Fortunately, no one in my family has had covid. I just like to play for myself and others. I'm glad your sister is well and happy. I wish the wife of the post's author a speedy recovery as well.

Hello LiamPullman and welcome to the forum.
Thank you for your kindness and thinking of my wife. I appreciate it.

Best wishes,

Stig

Hello. Yes, you are right. We do need more soothing music at this time. I tried to play and improvise myself, but unfortunately, I couldn't reach your level. I still enjoy the process of playing, though, the way my playing skills are growing and the happiness it brings to my family. My sister also had a hard time with covid. She taught me how to play classical guitar, and when she recovered and was released from the hospital, she was happy that I was still practicing with the guitar and playing my family's favorite songs. I wish your family member a speedy recovery. But you could go into music more professionally and turn to amworldgroup.com. They help develop musicians to build their careers by promoting their work and gaining a deserving audience. Music marketing has achieved a high-status today.
Anyways, wishing you the best of luck in your musical pursuits!

Thank you, LiamPullman, for your kind comment but I am an old amateur, self-taught, retired 15 years ago,  and no longer have time to start a professional career and my ability is no longer enough to it. Have to stay home 24/7 as a caregiver. But thank you for listening to my music. If you are interested, I have collected all my chill music, about 20 pieces,  here:
