Topic: Missing feature in Pianoteq 7.4: choosing effects

There was a feature in Pianoteq 7.3 that is not in Pianoteq 7.4. It's about switching effects directly in the main interface by clicking with the right mouse button on the desired effect, it was possible to choose different effects without having to open the "effects" interface. This was very useful and agile.
Unfortunately in update 7.4 this feature has been removed, you can choose and switch effects only through the effects interface, which is sometimes a bit inconvenient.

Hello,
do you mean buttons like reverb or EQ3 for example? If so, no problem here with v7.4.0. Could you give an example?

Re: Missing feature in Pianoteq 7.4: choosing effects

No problem here either with 7.4 - the effects buttons are still there. If your interface is not as expected, maybe try reinstalling?

You are correct, right-clicking on these buttons does not trigger the popup menu anymore (a long click still works, though) -- this will be fixed in the next update.

Ah, I didn't know about the right-click menu! I always just used the buttons with left click to activate or deactivate effects. So much useful stuff available with right click!

Re: Missing feature in Pianoteq 7.4: choosing effects

Yes, a long right click or a long left click on an effect button opens a pulldown menu in my v7.4.0 (linux release).
