Topic: Vivaldi ”Spring”, second movement, Largo from The Four Seasons.

I had forgotten this one.
My arrangement, short version, on Vivaldi ”Spring”, second movement, Largo from The Four Seasons.

Sound/arrangement:
Layering Pianoteq NY Steinway New Age, Hand Pan natural hand played, MK I Sweet Flanger,

Using 2 different Organteq sound layered in the melody

Orgtq background sound + Orgtq bass, pedal.

Unusual for the period, Vivaldi published the concerti with accompanying sonnets (possibly written by the composer himself) that elucidated what it was in the spirit of each season that his music was intended to evok.
Vivaldi took great pains to relate his music to the texts of the poems, translating the poetic lines themselves directly into the music on the page. For example, in the middle section of "Spring", when the goatherd sleeps, his barking dog can be heard ( sorry, I could not imitate the dog with my sounds
I'm wondering what Vivaldi would have thought of this version with these sounds ?
Anyway, Enjoy,

Stig

That's special but I like special things

Could be a Rick van der Linden one (Maybe you know the famous bands called Trace and Ekseption ?)

Thank you, ”we” like special things
I remember Ekseption and when they played Bach Air. I made a similar version long before I found Pianoteq, (If it says video not available, just click the youtube link)

Great work! I love the added depth that the organ brings

The organ bass sounds like a giant modern-day background 'pad'.  What a menagerie of instrument voices.  Very cool.
