Topic: Tuning - Diapason values missing

I'm trying do do an overdub on a mix that was recorded sharp by a bit so I'd like to bump up the tuning.  My problem is that the standard values go 440 - 441 - etc - 446 but then jump to 465.    There are no values between 446 & 465.   On the opposite side of things there is similar behavior - the value drop from 432 to 417.

My guess is that I need a value of roughly 452 or so.   When I try selecting "Other" in the drop down it allows me to enter 452, but then it asks me to assign a midi event - "Move the MIDI controller that you want to assign. . ."

I have no idea what to do next.  Just for the heck of it I tried pressing the soft pedal - but the Diapason value changed to 220 (even tho I had entered 452).  Not the desired effect.

My keyboard is a Kawai VPC1 - I opened the VPC Editor but didn't seeing anything obvious.

I'm running latest Pianoteq 7 version (7.3.0) and I'm running Mac Big Sur 11.4 on a Mac Mini.  I'm not going through any other software - just running direct.

What am I missing?  Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this is helpful... but on Standard and Pro you can specify your own Diapason by using the 'Other...' option at the bottom of the available list. I'm not sure if the Stage version allows this???

Diapason Setting

Hope that's helpful

I am using Pro version.  As I said initially, I can select "Other" in the drop down - it allows me to enter 452 - but then it prompts me to assign a midi event - "Move the MIDI controller that you want to assign. . ."

That's where I'm stuck.

OKAY! Got it.

Don't click the MIDI Yellow button, just type in your new value, press the return key and click outside the box to make it go away... the new value will be set.

Hope that helps

Thanks Smilie - that was it!    Niclas from Modartt support also gave me the same answer.

I was hoping there was a better implementation that I wasn't aware of... glad you got the answer you needed from Niclas.
