Topic: Steinway D (Prelude) and Yamaha p515

My initial experiment playing PianoTeq7 using the Yamaha p515...

Love Story by Francis Lai plus mistakes !

I never did like the damper/sustain pedal on my p515 as much as on my p120s, but with PianoTeq7 it's no longer a problem... PLUS the p515 outputs velocity off-notes!

I can't wait to experiment with the harpsichord and early keyboards... I feel as though I've opened a chocolate box of all my most favourite samplings - though not yet tasted.  What more will I discover? I just love this software!

Hello Smilie! The mos beautiful performance of this piece I've ever heard! Perfect tempo. Totally Awesome! Welcome to the beautiful Pianoteq world !
I hope you share more of your playing. There is also a sub-forum, Recordings featuring Pianoteq and Organteq, where you can upload more of your beautiful playing too.
I’m glad that you have joined the forum. Thank you, Smilie

Many thanks for your welcome and kind words. To be honest, I was just messing around, experimenting with the Velocity, Note-Off, and Pedal curves I created to suit my playing on the Yamaha p515 along with the Steinway D (Prelude) preset. I'm sure Francis Lai would be turning in his grave over my liberties with his exquisite piece.

By the way, I liked your go at Scott Joplin, for about a four-month period I played nothing but... I'm particularly fond of his Concert Waltz, "Bethena." It offers such a variety of mood in the various sections and a change of pace with some of the bridges... Gladly you can download from IMSLP his out-of-copyright sheet music, as you probably know.

I'm just sad I never discovered PianoTeq before... I feel I've missed out on so much.

Yes, Bethena is a great piece !

Feel free to post some (or lots of...) pieces and welcome to the forum

Thanks for your encouragement. I need time to really get used to PianoTeq before I start adding performances. The little ditties I've been uploading are just experiments. Talking of which...

Beautiful performance.
Sounds emotional... But... for the ones who watched the movie, it's impossible to don't feel a quite sadness feeling.
