Topic: Dumb new user question?

Hi I’m new to pianoteq and piano playing in general I’m loving the software (to me it sounds fantastic) and the learning curve.

As a learner I find the chord display very useful (have I hit the right notes, why yes I have!), however it always displays chords as flats and never sharps. So a c sharp minor who’ll be shown and a d flat minor. Is there a way to change this? Yes I can figure it out in my head but if I’m practicing in a sharp key I’d love to see the correct chord name (and to swap vice versa for flat keys)

Re: Dumb new user question?

Good question.

Re: Dumb new user question?

Not a pianoteq solution, but there is an app you'd be probably interested in: https://www.chordieapp.com/  -- depending on the tonality/key, it will display either C# or D♭ (for example).
