The Erard 1922 has such a low rumble around 130Hz at the C4 key. I want to use the instrument for a recording, but I don't know how to fix the problem without cutting too much with a narrowband EQ at this point. Can you help me here? Is it even possible to counteract this with a change in hammer hardness or soundboard?
C4 it's louder compared to C3. But maybe they let it as that if the real instrument was the same way.
With Pianoteq Pro edition you can adjust volume key by key. If you have Pianoteq Standart someone can send you a FXP made with volume adjusted for this keys, but you can't adjust yurslef in Standart, but you can run the FXP. If you have Pianoteq Stage you can't load FXP files.

If you have the PRO version, I suggest you reduce the hammer noise down to something like 0.6 on that particular note.

In any case, before jumping to PRO, you can test this suggestion (reducing the hammer noise) in Standard version too, and see if it solves your issue on that particular note. If it does solve your issue, and you do not want to reduce the hammer noise on the other notes, then it might be worth jumping.

Thank you. Unfortunately, that did not help me. By the way, I was wrong about the key, in the note edit area the C2 key is displayed. I uploaded a short example to listen to on my homepage. I played once from G1 up to C2 and once from G2 down to C2. The fourth note in each case is the C2 with the buzz.

Ah, then indeed it has nothing to do with the hammer noise... I hear no particular buzz, but maybe you find the fundamental too strong. You can try reducing the first partial in the voicing panel to see if it helps.

It's more of a muffled booming, but that's interesting: I can't hear it through my headphones either. Possibly it is then due to my iLoud speakers, which reproduce the sound spectrum very linearly. I will try around a bit more. Thank you very much for your valuable help.

It's a very small vented/ported bass reflex loudspeaker. I'ts probably an artefact of the port tuning and driver distortions that you are hearing. Rooms and surroundings also bend the sound out of shape too.
For listening over your speakers have a play with microphone positioning, reverb settings and the various EQ options, together with per key volume levels. lots of options to try.
i think you can adjust the volume note by note in Standard too. if you click on Note Edit you can adjust volume, attack envelope, and detuning.
If they didn't have 88 note vol editing I wouldn't have bought standard. I find it immensely useful for ironing out loud notes which may be due to headphone, speaker or situation anomalies. It's hard sometimes to see clearly enough to get the right note, though! Better if you're under 70 . . . .
I use the Erard a lot. I find it very useful, like the old Bechstein; typical of a piano with (maybe) candelabras. And woodworm . .
