Topic: Enjoying the Steinway B update

The low end sounds noticeably thicker and more realistic. The top end has a bit more thickness and sustain as well, it seems. Very nice!
I always enjoyed the B, but the low end always sounded just weak to me, as if it had emphysema. Must have had a lung transplant

I wonder if it had been intentionally voiced with slightly more bass dry presets to accentuate the difference between the  B & D models.
Or perhaps to make that audible difference more apparent in smaller real-world rooms?
Our typical listening rooms likely to be too small for either models.

Steinway B And the woody sound of its gentle preset, a good one.

I think he would had run out of positive superlatives, since he used the most powerfull one when V7 ws released.
