Heyy Guys,

What with lockdowns and travel restrictions still imposed around the world, Valentine’s Day, like many holidays lately, may not feel the same this year. However, I hope everyone will take a moment to cherish your loved ones whoever & wherever they may be, reflecting on how much they mean to you.

To commemorate the occasion, I’m releasing my first fully written composition entitled “A Lonely Valentine”, composed 11 years ago. This is my debut, my opus 1, the piece that set me on the path to writing and publishing more original music. I hope you will enjoy and be touched by it in some way.

Recorded with the Kawai VPC1 and Pianoteq 7 (Bechstein) VST.

Thank you for the music. It really touched me and I enjoyed it much. ”In some way” - yes, was thinking about my grandchildren that I can’t meet now, and again, about my son that passed away 2 1/2 year ago, how much he meant to me.
This music is awesome, man! Great playing. What wonderful talent!
I think this is probably the best music/arrangement I have ever heard, in it’s genre. I will listen to this many times.
Well, this is what I think about it. Thank you!

Edit   After listening again.  What much finger strength you have and still go through all the dynamics. Beautiful performance and very good video.

Hi there,

Thank you so much for sharing your story and I am sorry to hear about your situation. For me, I am grateful to have met a beautiful girl who became my girlfriend during the Pandemic and who is making my lockdown life much more bearable. But on the other hand, My parents live on the other side of the world (in Singapore, I'm in Berlin) and I've never gone so long without seeing them before. However, thanks to modern day technology, we can still see each other over the air

Fine playing Shaun, thank you. Such a rich and finely crafted first piano piece.

In lonely times music has been responsible for keeping things OK and in good times it helps remind of those times, but further rewards by tantalizing us always with visions of an even better world for all, which your first work hints at wonderfully.
