Topic: Introducing Nocturnia No. 9 in D Minor: The Mask has Fallen

Hi, I am Sébastien Monneret. I am currently composing an album of 24 piano pieces borrowed from the romantic and modern traditions with my music influences.

Nocturnia No.9 in D Minor: Le masque est tombé (The Mask has Fallen) is the only piece written during the Covid-19 lockdown (1st wave between March and June 2019) in Paris. This playful waltz denounces the greed and recklessness of our human species to face the tragedies for which it is partly responsible. This piece is dedicated to all courageous nursing staff who are fighting against the Coronavirus."
The piece is performed by The Flaming Piano using Pianoteq 7 New-York Steinway Model D preset.

”….dedicated to all courageous nursing staff who are fighting against the Coronavirus”.  Thank you!
I have to say as I said to another pianist, I like the flow in your playing.
I think You are a very good player because you have learned the technique. Regardless of how difficult a piece is, you can always focus on the flow and put in whatever is needed for your playing without sacrificing this ”flow”. When I tried once to learn thechniques looking at Jordan Rudess lessons on YT, he said, that it’s important to ”let it flow”. Probably the most important thing I have learned, as a amateur.
I feel that nothing can slow you down. It’s like you are always ”in the moment” and let the music flow. Keep up
