I'd definitely recommend to install the Standard demo as well as the Stage version demo, to get to try out all the extra tools which are not included in Stage. (they can install side by side).
The tools in Standard are enhanced in the Pro version by further allowing per note editing, rather than broader changes in Standard.
A good advantage of Pianoteq Standard though (compared to Stage), is that it can faithfully load and utilize presets (FXP files) created with Pro edits, although you may not further edit those pro edits without Pro, they do play fully in Standard.
Stage is really a fine tool, if no editing is likely and defaults suffice.
