Topic: Rogue Amoeba Soundsource 5 great with Pianoteq Standalone on macOS

I use to use MainStage to add my own effect plugins to Pianoteq, but I have found a better way with using Pianoteq as standalone and also using external plugins. SoundSource 5 lets you insert external plugin effects on an application basis, and even better it remembers all plugin settings and routing audio. It's great!

Also it does not induce very much latency at all, and CPU performance is very good.
So if you want to use Pianoteq stand alone with external AU or VST plugins I can highly recommend SoundSource 5. I have it running on a Apple iMac Pro Catalina Mac OS, and it's very stable.

My current external plugin processing with Pianoteq Standalone and SoundSource is PSP E27 (eq), PSP FetPressor (comp) and 2C B2 (reverb).

I use Audio Hijack from Rogue Amoeba.  It also allows external effect plugins placed on PIANOTEQ standalone output.
