Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2020 - INSTRUCTIONS

Hi, do both the music recordering and the video have to be brand new?
I have some fairly new musicpieces without video. Can I make a video with that?

As long as the video itself is new, you may upload it.
Just make sure the music is accompanied with a video (not just a single still image).

Hello,

Is it sufficient if I have a text display that says something like Pianoteq 6: Steinway Model D on my video submission?

Thanks

Yes.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2020 - INSTRUCTIONS

I understand Pianoteq 6 should be used, older versions won't do?

If so, then when I have bought an older version of Pianoteq, I should at least install a trial version of Pianoteq 6, too, right?

Is it then possible to have Pianoteq 6 and an older version of Pianoteq both installed on the same machine?

Yes hstraub, the demo won't interfere with existing version

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2020 - INSTRUCTIONS

I would like to use Organteq for part of my piece, but most of the piece will use Pianoteq 6. The section that uses Organteq would feature Organteq by itself. Is that allowed, or would I need to play both Organteq and Pianoteq in that section?

Heya DaveL,

that seems like it would be absolutely fine

Take a peek at previous years' entries to take in what's made it to the final in the past, there's all kinds of interesting creative videos where Pianoteq is part of a mix and more.

Really looking forward to seeing/hearing yours.

Can I write info about Pianoteq in the video description? Below the video

It is not sufficient to do only that. It needs to be clear in the video itself that you are using Pianoteq.
