Topic: Midi Stops Working

When I open the Pianoteq App (Windows PC), I have my default piano as "Steinway Home."  I am starting to have an issue where I would start to play and after about a moment, I would lose the midi connection, so my midi controller no longer plays notes.  However, if I move my curser over the virtual keyboard on the app just to see if anything happens, I can trigger notes there.  If I close the app and relaunch, the problem goes away.

Anyone have any ideas of a solution?  This make me hesitant to use the app in a live setting.

Note:  I have not tried this in my DAW...I will try that later....

The app is updated to the latest version.

Thanks for any support.

Here's my suggestions...

1. Check your midi cable/interface

2. Update your midi interface driver's

3. Reboot your computer

Warmest regards,

Chris

Re: Midi Stops Working

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the response.  I am not using a separate midi interface.  I am triggering midi via USB directly from my Roland Fantom.

Everything is up to date.

Sincerely,
