Topic: BACH J.S. Allegro (III) from Brandenburg Concerto n.3 - BWV 1048

Favorite selections from Organteqenthusiast’s music collection. Today’s selection is:

BACH J.S. Allegro (III) from Brandenburg Concerto n.3 - BWV 1048 (final movement)

Dear listeners,

I didn't think it would be possible, that Schonberg’s Festmusik is more difficult, for me, than Bach Brandenburg Concerto 3. But, while Festmusik still waiting to be completed, I had to play something else.
Notice, that this is the final movement, not the first movement, that someone played on Organteq Alfa about 2 years ago. Apparently played very rarely on organ. Therefore I’m glad I managed it, somehow.

Perfect pulse !

Am i wrong ?  There are two notes as an interval of one tone (at 2.00). I Would hear more half a tone but maybe it's me ?

Well played !

Hello Amaryllis and welcome to the forum! I’m not sure about what you mean, but I had to go to my daw and at 2.00 (exactly 1.59.440) there are 3 notes at the same time:   e in right hand sexteenth note, e in left hand quarter note and e in pedal eighth note staccato (and that’s how it is in the sheet too). I should have played the quarter note a bit longer. You know, I’m an old retired teacher and an amateur in playing, not an organist, but I try to get the music I play as right as possible. Although there are some small mistakes in this piece
I’m very glad for your question. It shows you are interested in music and that is very nice. And thank you very much for your kind and encouraging comment.

Thank you very much, Qexl!
And nice to have you in this sub-forum I love making music wih Organteq and Pianoteq and I want to share my recordings so, if possible, making other people happy too. As Mother Teresa said: ”A life not lived for others is not a life”, I mean, I’m not making music solely for myself. Stay tuned, I mean, come back here to listen more
