Topic: Organteq Fuge

I don’t know (for the moment) who the composer is. Probably a german composer because of the name Fuge? The sheet is old, yellow copy, and it is written Presto. Got it 1971 and couldn’t play/ didn’t have the ability to play it, at that time. Maybe someone recognizes it here or in the contrebombarde  and can tell the composer. It was a bit easier that the pedale didn't come until the end
I have some reed pipes/lingual in left hand to better hear the theme. I like to hear the ”tongue” vibrate, a bold ”trumpet/tuba” like sound.

I prefer to listen to this one with headphones because of the nice short main theme, subject, which then sounds successively in each voice. I suggest you to try it. I like this piece more and more when I hear the theme at different pitch in other voices

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did recording it

Re: Organteq Fuge

I found the composer!!! Searching on youtube with Fuge in C Pachelbel, Fischer, Walther.....and Buxtehude.
It is Fugue in C by Dietrich Buxtehude   Have been a mystery for me 50 years. I'm so glad. And the organist playing it had same tempo as me, No too fast or rushed but steady.
