I love this! Lots of good stuff.
Just as a matter of personal opinion, I think that a lighter, jazz-inflected percussion track (centered around the high-hat taps and stick sounds, for example) might sound more flattering: this piece sounds a little like a clever, refined, smooth jazz piece with a heavy rock drummer stealing the attention.
