Topic: "clacking" sound with Pianet T Honher expansion

hi all, I'm trying to work out if there is a way of trying to remove the "clacking" noise from the Pianet T presets, in particular "Bright Pianet T". I'm not sure if it is supposed to be key noise or what, I turned down key release level to OFF,  I've tried fiddling with all the parameters in Pianoteq 6 Standard to remove it but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Additional info, it's a sequence with notes between A3 and A4. It's happening with a note length of 1/32, it reduces when the length is 1/16th

I have a hard time trying to identify this problem. The only noises I hear are just the attack and the release clacking which can be completely turned off in the action section. Both are a natural part of the instrument. Can you upload a file of this clacking?

Oh, now I get it! That's the damper closing off the sound producing that kind of release sound. It's part of the model but you can make it almost inaudible by editing Damper Noise in Pianoteq pro for the specific keys. Or you can set the damping duration to a minimum but that affects the all range.

hi thanks. I have Standard so that option isn't open to me but knowing it's the damper is helpful. I may be able to reduce the effect by decreasing the damper duration.

I've just created a preset setting all dampers noises to 0. You can still load it in Standard.

It seems much more natural than decreasing the duration. See if it is what you're looking for.

thank you for doing this, I appreciate it. Unfortunately although the preset imports the sound is no different.

But knowing it's damper noise I've decreased the duration of the noise and that seems to work on the very staccato passage so that I think in the mix it will be ok.
