J.S. Bach Prelude in F BWV 556 - 8 Little Preludes and Fugues 553-560

To me, this 556 is so impressive and inspiring. And it is a real joy to play and hear Organteq, fresh and clear. Thanks Roman! And there is almost nothing like feeling the power of Organteq in your whole body when using many stops and listening loud.
But I don’t understand why this 556 is so difficult to get right …sigh…3 days, and playing almost through the nights….
Tried to copy the sound of the Schott organ built in 1630 at Muri Abbey, Switzerland, Youtube, but ended up with this my own registration.
There are some mistakes, had problems to get it right, but I think this isn’t the worst version on planet :-)

The truth and the judgement

The music describes someone who regret a crime (in beginning, and those weak piano/pianissimo parts, the accused explains the circumstances), and forte parts is the grim strict judge, and at the end the judgement 1,32-2,05.
The sound of Organteq is often an inspiration for me to think of a movie, form an idea in my mind, where, how to, use the sound. And this is how I chose the theatrical image with Organteq this time. Maybe a bit scary…
And the punishment…..well, in my fictional movie, one year, because he regretted but didn’t promise to stop. He regretted when someone pointed out his wrongs, but he rather continue to deceive them actually not confess the truth. Well, I’m sure Organteq could be used as background in movie scenes :-)
