I currently use Pianoteq (recently upgraded to pro) via ASIO4ALL and SPDIF, using a 2.1 speaker setup.
I own additional speakers and would like to test if upgrading to 4.1 further improves the acoustic experience.
My issue is that my speakers are great with digital inputs but produce substantial noise with the analog line inputs.
I don't know any PC sound card with multiple SPDIF outputs.
Is it possible to create a microphone setup in Pianoteq which routes 2 microphones to a separate sound device?
Best regards,
Michael
Hello Friend.
Using Asio4all, you can get as many outputs as your processor supports. First, you must obtain any USB audio converter device. It can be an audio interface with two outputs or even those small, inexpensive devices that turn USB outputs into an audio signal. So, Asio4all does not ignore your computer's headphone output and adds two more from the USB device. I say it works because I already did it and it worked. However, my computer did not support it and gave many "gliches". even increasing the sample rate.
