Topic: ASUS PN40 fanless, what do you think?
Intrigued by the PN40 as a fanless mini PC for playing pianoteq. Intended use is headless, just as a piano sound module.
I like that it's very small, fanless (completely silent, no moving parts) and inexpensive (< $250 complete).
However, the processor is a Celeron N4000. Ok, it's a Celeron, but a relatively modern processor and not to be confused with the older and less powerful generations.
Would love to get your thoughts and opinions on the feasibility before buying. I'm not interested so much in the torture testing, just regular day to day playing by a happy amateur with low latency.
I'll be using external USB audio interface for MIDI and Audio.
