Topic: Pianoteq with Cubase AI 10

Are any of you guys using Pianoteq with Cubase AI 10? I qualified for a free version and wondered how compatible Cubase is with Pianoteq. I’m not a great piano player yet, but I will at some point want to record something while using Pianoteq and wondered is Cubase is good for that.
Thanks guys!
Len

Hi Lend27,

should be fine

Cubase AI 10 specs list shows compatibility with VST virtual instruments.

I like the look of Cubase AI - esp. composition tools, thanks!

I also got a version of Cubase when I bought my Steinberg UR-22 mkII external sound card.  It took a while to figure out why I couldn't get the PIanoteq VSTs to run in Cubase -- it turned out that the two programs had default standard areas to look for the 64 bit VST plug-ins.  Once I moved them to be where Cubase wanted them, all worked perfectly.  In fact, if I remember correctly, I even had lower latency using the Cubase VST plug-ins for Pianoteq than I did running the stand-alone version of Pianoteq.
