Topic: Is it possible to monitor midi velocity output from Pianoteq?

Is there a way to monitor or record the actual midi velocity output (post-velocity curve) from Pianoteq, rather than the keyboard input values? It's not something I'm desperate to do, but I just wondered if it was possible. I tried sending 'midi output' to another track in Reaper, but it always gave me the original values from the first track, regardless of the velocity curve.

Interesting question I had also recently asked myself!

Re: Is it possible to monitor midi velocity output from Pianoteq?

do you need it realtime? pianoteq writes midi files of everything you play... or is that the "raw" input from the keyboard?

Pianoteq records the "raw" MIDI input from the keyboard.

You can test it yourself with a fixed velocity mapping, for example constant 64: Velocity = [0, 127; 64, 64].
Recorded is not the remapped value 64, but the raw input velocity.
