Topic: Chromebook

My Pc is getting old now and wondered if pianoteq will run on a chromebook and does it have to be a certain spec.

Re: Chromebook

I don't know if Pianoteq would run on ChromeOS, well I've never had a chromebook in my hands, I would go for a Linux or Windows laptop. The specs required are not very high, you can read them on the FAQ questions.

Re: Chromebook

It is now possible to run Linux apps on Chromebooks, but it's currently in beta:

You  could get an old windows 7 device in decent order, and use that without internet connection.  Firefox works well on these things, for Pianoteq update purposes.  I've had my 2008 lappie switched permanently on for the last 3 years.

I'm playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order

Re: Chromebook

I don't really have any experience with Chromebooks, but it seems like the beta might be a bit sketchy. I'd probably stick with a PC or Mac until they release a full version for the CB.
